Shufit – Glue On Shoe

  • When do I use SHUFIT – GLUE ON SHOE?

    In every situation you think it is not wise to nail.

  • What shoe can I glue?

    Almost all aluminum, steel, urethane and a lot of other plastic shoes.

  • Do I need special tools?

    No, you trim the hoof like you always do.

  • What is the max temperature while curing?

    About 75℃/167℉.

  • How long does it take to cure?

    At room temperature about 3½ minutes.

  • Do I need chemicals?

    No, don’t use any chemicals. If there is any doubt about the cleanness of the hoof use isopropanol.

  • How can I prepare the hoof for gluing a shoe?

    The hoof must be dry and all dirt must be taken out. Cut away all loose parts. Then brush the hoof with a steelbrush.

  • What more can shufit do?

    Repair cracks and nail holes. Build up some extra hoofwall. Protect a local part of the hoofwall from damaging.

  • Can I put a nail through the Glue?

    Yes it is possible to nail through the glue, even after a few weeks.

Shufill – Shock-Absorber

  • When do I use SHUFILL – SHOCK-ABSORBER?

    In case you need cushioning and protection of the sole or frog.

  • Does SHUFILL – SHOCK-ABSORBER stick?

    No, you always need SHUPADS to keep the SHUFILL – SHOCK-ABSORBER in place.

  • How hard is SHUFILL – SHOCK-ABSORBER?

    Shore A 10 is the soft one and shore 40 the hardest.

  • Is SHUFILL – SHOCK-ABSORBER toxic?

    No, our silicones are free of acid and non toxic.

  • How long is the curing time?

    At room temperature about 3 minutes (depending on the humidity in the air).

Shufill – Cushion

  • When do I use SHUFILL – CUSHION?

    If you want to reduce the pressure on the hoofwall to create equal pressure on the sole.

  • Is SHUFILL – CUSHION getting hot?

    No, while curing the temperature will rise to 45℃/113℉

  • How long is the curing time?

    At room temperature about 30 seconds. At cold conditions about 45 seconds and in very hot condition about 20 seconds.

  • Why the big green mixingtip?

    Proper mixing makes 50% of the performance of the product. The green mixingtip is the best mixingtip for SHUFILL – CUSHION.

  • Does it bond to the sole?

    Yes it does, but GLUE-U advises a equimesh for better performance.

  • Do I need a special caulking gun?

    No, as all GLUE-U products will SHUFILL – CUSHION fit in a regular silicone caulking gun.

Shufill – Hoof Packing

  • How do I mix the SHUFILL – HOOF PACKING?

    You can mix it by hand. Take ½ part A and ½ part B and mix it for about 4 minutes till you feel squeezing is getting tougher.

  • Why SHUFILL – HOOF PACKING?

    Because it is cheap and can be used very local on the sole.

  • How does it stay in the foot?

    SHUFILL – HOOF PACKING can be used in combination with leather, plastic, urethane or other pads.

  • Is it heavy?

    Just as heavy as every other filler. But if you mix styropor balls through it you reduce weight and you reduce hardness.

  • Can I mix some medicine through it?

    Yes, you can. SHUFILL – HOOF PACKING accepts almost any granulate.

Shufix – Fast Set

  • When do I use SHUFIX – FAST SET?

    If you want to repair a crack very fast. If you want to create foal extensions.

  • How long does it take to cure?

    About 1 minute at room temperature.

  • Do I need a special caulking gun?

    No, SHUFIX – FAST SET also fits in a regular caulking gun.

  • Why the big green mixingtip?

    GLUE-U guarantees proper mixing only with the green mixingtip.

  • Can I nail through SHUFIX – FAST SET?

    No, because of the type of material it is not possible to nail through SHUFIX – FAST SET.

  • Can I glue a shoe with SHUFIX CRACK REPAIR?

    Yes you can, but SHUFIT – GLUE ON SHOE is a better product for gluing a shoe.
